HI San Francisco Downtown Hostel - San Francisco

HI San Francisco Downtown Hostel boasts a central location, just a 5-minute walk from shopping and dining in Square. This hostel features both shared dorms and private rooms, androoms include an ensuite bathroom, sink, and mirror.

Guests have access tocommon areas, including a full kitchen and an amply furnished lounge. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Secure lockers are offered. A launderette is located on site.

HI San Francisco Downtown Hostel is a 7-minute walk from the Chinatown Gates and 5-minute walk from San Francisco Centre on Market Street.

Please note that restoration work on our building’s historic exterior will continue through the end of 2025. We are making every effort to assign reservations away from areas that may experience daytime noise. For any questions or concerns, please contact the hostel directly.

Guests may only stay up to 14 nights in a calendar year. Please note, reservations do not have to be for consecutive dates.

Please note: Parties travelling with children under the age of 12 must stay in a private room or rent out an entire dorm room.
